Heya, to anyone who actually reads this blog, sorry for the delay in getting the next blog post out, its been a very busy couple of weeks, but I will always attempt to update this blog ASAP and keep you up to date on things in progress.

Anyone wandering if I have progressed with developing things for my website, no, over the past few weeks there has been a lot I have had to do that took priority, but I will be back onto those things this week with a bit of luck.

Before I go on any further though, I would like to say thanks to those who attended my Birthday Celebrations @ Tiger Tiger, or even anyone who sent me birthday greetings on the day. My rocket propelled zimmer frame will come in handy at my old age If you want to check out pictures from the day you can do so here (Click the image to the left).

Right, onto other things, I have been extremely busy as of late, with a recent big project on at work which was a solo effort on my behalf, and also things like having to choose my 3rd year project, having to sort out things in regard to my student loan etc. Its a busy time of year!

Over the past few days, I’ve had a lot going through my mind, I see people moving on in life, progressing towards their goals and their dreams, and it made me realize am I really doing enough to reach my goals? There are smarter, more determined people in this world that will be aiming for the same goals I am, so what makes me stand out from the rest? What will make a company take a risk and choose me above the rest? At the moment I can’t even pick that out myself, and that is pretty worrying…

Yet again, it’s not too late to start, I’ve got a year left of university and the remainder of this academic year before I am unleashed on the real world, so maybe it’s time to step up the heat and work towards what, I know if I try hard enough, I can achieve. I’ve always been someone who sets real high goals from himself, but at times I have also lacked the willpower and determination to follow through with it. And I’m determined to change that, I can’t face seeing myself sink into a below par standard.

So what am I going to do? Well first off with one change in determination comes a change in lifestyle, I’ve been meaning for a while to get back on track with fitness, I’ve let myself be too lazy and the only one who has suffered is myself…

There’s a famous saying “Nice Guys Finish Last” and I’ve been thinking of that of late, and to be honest if you look at it , it does seem to be true… As chandler once said in friends “you’re such a nice guy’ means: ‘I’m going to be dating leather wearing alcoholics, and complaining about them - to you.’”

So what is it? Why is it that girls seem to prefer the ones that are going to treat them wrong? To be honest I can’t answer that question, why would someone put themselves under more hurt then they need to be? I don’t understand it nor do I attempt to understand it… But yet, it has made me think, should I change? Should I stop caring? Should I become one of those guys that I have disapproved of for so long?

Well if I am honest, I have tried it before but I just couldn’t do it, I have a conscious and I cared too much about what I was actually doing… No matter how hard I tried, nor how much I distracted myself, I couldn’t escape the morals that I hold within myself. Sure, we all make mistakes in life, but we don’t all regret them…

No matter what is going on in life, whether it be directly related to you or not, the fact is time goes on whilst it all happens. So what am I getting at? Well, the fact of the matter is there will be times in life where things happen that hit you, and hit you hard, and all you’ll actually want to do is just pull yourself away from the world so that you can recover…

The reality is, however, that the world keeps turning, and that the time you spend trying to get over your past in fact starts to consume your future, after all the world doesn’t just stop because you want it to.

Most of the time when something hits us, our main natural instinct is to try and explain why it has… Obviously different people deal with this in different ways. Some are so determined to find out why, that they’ll spend all their emotional energy in searching it out… Some in fact take the route to find something else to do to take their mind of it, therefore penting up whatever emotions they may be feeling which could eventually arise at a later unexpected date.

Well people, I’m starting this entry not 100% on what I am going to talk about in it, but hey sometimes the best things are unplanned LOL (Hence the totally random picture I created for today’s posting as it’s meant to represent the characters forming whilst typing this entry).

So what’s been going on with me? Well I have been very busy over the past week getting a website up and live for work, which took up a lot of my time, on top of that I worked at Old Trafford as usual on home match days, which in the past week has included the Liverpool game and Blackburn Carling Cup semi final game. And on that note… COME ON YOU REDS!

Anyway, not really in the mood to go off into a football slant today… But what slant do I go on? haha really cannot make up my mind at the moment…

OK, right I think I have picked up on something that I can actually natter on about for a bit… I’ve been thinking of late of my friends, who because of the way my life is are mostly half way across the world, my two best friends, are either in Sweden or Finland, my other closest friends are either in the states or just really bad at keeping in touch, or maybe just everyone is just horrible at keeping in touch…

Sorry I haven’t written here in a while, I was away for xmas, and dial-up connections are not the best when it comes to maintaining things like this, and then since I have got back to the UK I have been very busy, but now I am settled I can get back to keeping you all up to date with my thoughts.

You know there are always times when in your head there’ll be an ocean of questions, and I guess today is one of those days for me, they are a mixed variety of questions, some more fundamental than others, but nonetheless they are there.

So how do I deal with them? I guess I could just ignore them, I guess I could tackle them head on, but I think its best to meet it half way between those two. You see if you ignore them completely, they wont be gone they will linger and keep digging at you until you can’t take it anymore, yet if you try and tackle them all at once they may overwhelm you, so its best to go for the middle, and tackle the questions at the forefront of your mind.

“I don’t think it’s fair to point the finger at Sir Alex, the responsibility lies with the team as the whole, Sir Alex can only do so much, but its down to the players to show the grit and determination on the pitch to carry on through adversity.”

So the first of the group of questions are not vitally important to my life, but nonetheless they are there, being a (Manchester) United supporter, serious questions are beginning to be asked by the media and football’s highest standing voices, but who do you exactly blame?

So what happens when someone who you are really close to begins to change their minds about the way the way they feel for you? I guess it all depends on the person they are that determines how they react to the change in feelings…

Some of them may take the right root and explain how they feel and to talk it through with you so that you may understand what’s going on in their head, another option for them to take would be just to end the relationship without explaining why… The last option is one that is used normally because they don’t wish to hurt your feelings, and are too worried of your reaction if they were to talk it through with you…

This option believe it or not, is quite commonly the root taken, its a bit like being phased out, when once you would have been worth finding time for, it becomes more common that they are too “busy” to find that time… And if you don’t live near each other the communication between yourselves will being to deteriorate and when they do communicate they will talk to you different or cut the conversation short one way or another…

In today’s world there are challenges that lie in front of us, times that arise, that we will have to make certain decisions… But sometimes you may be asked to do something that may not seem “right” to you, but yet the person who is asking you to do it is really relying on you to do it for them…

So how do you react? You have morals that say you wouldn’t ever do something like that… So the question should be, why should you go against your morals? I truly believe you shouldn’t, and someone who is a good friend would NEVER ask you to do that either…

“The moment you start going against your morals is the moment you start to lose the person you are…”

You see your morals form the ground level on the person you are, your morals drive you through life and the decisions you make…The moment you start going against your morals is the moment you start to lose the person you are… I know there are a lot of pressures in this world that may influence the decisions you make, like popularity, impression and peer pressure but don’t let them forget about your morals…

Hey there again, sorry ONCE AGAIN for the delay in a new post on here, my main computer needed a reformat so I spent a week formatting, installing, configuring etc…

So on with the show as they say… “Love” that well known emotion… But also the most misunderstood of all emotions, it can be the source of all the other emotions, as well as the cure for them… When you are “in” love, everything in the world can seem unbreakable and unblemishable… When you’re “out” of love, things can seem bleak, and tainted…

But I am not here to talk about the effects of love… But more what love is? I guess in a lot of ways that’s a brave question to tackle, and one that I most likely wont be able to answer… Well at least not to a level everyone can accept…
