One for the Money, Two for the Show…

In life there are opportunities that you’ll be faced with, chances in life and love, and the choice on whether you take that chance or not could have a domino effect on other things you do in life for the better or the worst.
I’m not necessarily talking about the obvious opportunities though, opportunities lie everywhere, in every situation and every moment, some with greater detrimental effects than others… But what those effects are, you may not realise until its too late…
But that is the reality of life… that missed opportunity to say “I love you”, that missed opportunity to tell the truth, that missed opportunity to take a chance and reach out for something that could change the way things are, could mean the difference between better or worst…
The hard fact is though is that realising the opportunities is purely in your hands, you may have a best friend or someone close that may help you realise it, but fundamentally only you can really act on the opportunities.
“But that is the reality of life… that missed opportunity to say “I love you”, that missed opportunity to tell the truth, that missed opportunity to take a chance and reach out for something that could change the way things are, could mean the difference between better or worst…”
Personally I always try and take every opportunity I can and if I see it in front of me I’ll take it, no matter how hard it is, I think of why I should and why I shouldn’t and weigh up the options and then act on it. If it doesn’t work out then at least I know I gave it a shot and made what I could of the chance, if I make the wrong choice then I learn from it, in hope that I don’t repeat it.
This especially goes for relationships, sometimes there are things you have to realise in order to ensure the best for your other half, to take the opportunistic moment and do what is needed to make sure they are happiest, even if it means you not being “the other half” anymore. And that’s why I have titled this posting what I have, the common known phrase “One for the Money, Two for the show, Three to get out of here, and here we go…” gives the impression of taking the moment by the horns and just going for it, it could make a positive difference in your life.
“Grab that opportunity, don’t end up thinking “what if?” or “why didn’t I?”, instead end up thinking “At Least I Gave It My Best Shot”.”
So remember, if it comes to a moment where it would be best to tell the truth, or a moment where you really want to say “I love you” to that certain someone, or when you realise it may be best to let someone go, grab that opportunity, don’t end up thinking “what if?” or “why didn’t I?”, instead end up thinking “At Least I Gave It My Best Shot”.
