Well people, I’m starting this entry not 100% on what I am going to talk about in it, but hey sometimes the best things are unplanned LOL (Hence the totally random picture I created for today’s posting as it’s meant to represent the characters forming whilst typing this entry).
So what’s been going on with me? Well I have been very busy over the past week getting a website up and live for work, which took up a lot of my time, on top of that I worked at Old Trafford as usual on home match days, which in the past week has included the Liverpool game and Blackburn Carling Cup semi final game. And on that note… COME ON YOU REDS!
Anyway, not really in the mood to go off into a football slant today… But what slant do I go on? haha really cannot make up my mind at the moment…
OK, right I think I have picked up on something that I can actually natter on about for a bit… I’ve been thinking of late of my friends, who because of the way my life is are mostly half way across the world, my two best friends, are either in Sweden or Finland, my other closest friends are either in the states or just really bad at keeping in touch, or maybe just everyone is just horrible at keeping in touch…
“We all go through difficult times in life where we can’t find time for the things we wish to do, but it doesn’t mean we wont be able to eventually.”
But then again I do understand life can be very busy and difficult for people and I can understand that things like keeping in touch with friends and family can take second place to the important matters of life… Yet I look back at the times when I knew I’d see my best friends every holiday, and then look to today where I’ll be lucky if I see them annually… And it kind of saddens me at times, because I have some very strong bonds with the friends of my past, and sometimes I refuse to just believe its part of growing up that those bonds are to grow apart… As I know the moment we get to spend time together again it’ll be as though there was no time we ever spent apart.
So what am I getting at exactly? Well I guess in a way this is a shout out to my friends out there, who I want to know that I miss them loads, and I hope that we’ll all meet up together again soon. And then its also general message to anyone reading, that if you are in a similar position, where some of your older closest friends seem to be drifting away from you, don’t give up on them, after all when the time is right, you will be able to find the time to get together again and rekindle the friendship of old, we all go through difficult times in life where we can’t find time for the things we wish to do, but it doesn’t mean we wont be able to eventually.
After all, sometimes when you are low on your lowest down, its those old faces those old close friends who can lift you up again, and more often than not you’ll find that they do end up being there for you when you really need them…
On the subject of people being there for you, I thought I’d take this chance to say that don’t ever forget you have your family there for you as well, no matter how good your relations are with them at any time period, over everything they are family and because of that they will be there for you at your time of need. Whether your parents are separated or together, whether your living away from family or with them, sometimes the biggest comfort can come from a member of your family.
But above all, when everything seems to be going wrong, just have faith in the situation and wish for the best, because when you’ve hit rock bottom there is only ever one way to go… Up.
